- If you park your car under a neem tree, the sap sticks to the car and is very difficult to wash off. Where does this come from – the leaves, the trunk? What is the composition? Is this a good adhesive? Test adhesive properties? What can it be used for? Is it biocompatible? Can it be used in water?
- Mangroves are plants that survive in very salty water (seas) – how do they desalinate the water? Can there be a design for a desalination plant based on such plants?
- Effect of storage on Vitamin C content of oranges/lemons etc. See details of techniques at the Science Buddies site.
